Where did June go?

Hi Family! I took a few pictures this past week and thought I would share :) This is our new garage. Can't have too many garages in your yard! And this is our new deck. Love the new deck. It's nice to sit out there at night. Those are my tomatoes growing in the pots. I hope we have tomatoes this year! Try not to look at the bald spots in the lawn where grass refuses to grow in those two spots.
Kaden's baseball team. We got to finish the year out on Saturday with 2 wins! The boys played some great baseball that day and we are sad it's over already :( Kaden playing first baseAnd then it was Shay's 21st Birthday! Happy 21st! We went to Los Hermanos and ate dinner and had the waiters sing to her and she got a free fried ice cream! She was so embarrassed, but what are families for??Lacee and her best buddy Shay.

GRRRRR....

Last night, we drove to Salem, which is 1-1/2 hours away from Delta, for Kaden's ball game. Everybody arrives at the park and gets changed and we walk up to the field we are supposed to be on and some guy there tells us, "You guys aren't playing tonight, didn't anybody call and tell you?" NO, they didn't call and tell us that! We wouldn't have just drove up here for kicks and giggles! I am so mad. I am wondering if people from Payson to Salt Lake think that we are only a ten minute drive down the road?

So Saturday we are supposed to go to the exact same park and play 2 games. I think I will call the head of Rocky Mountain Baseball to see if in fact they are going to let these boys play some baseball. It's been ridiculous! Between the rain and just flat out cancelling games for no reason, I am ready to strangle somebody!!

Okay, now that I have vented, I feel much better and I am going to have a very happy and productive day :)

Happy Birthday Hudson!

Hudson had a birthday on Wednesday and so far he's loving every minute of being four! We had a cookout yesterday to celebrate-the kids had a blast on Hudson's new slip-n-slide. We had a couple of collisions and lots of near misses, but that didn't slow anyone down!
Just like his big brothers Hud loves Legos, so he was very happy after getting some new sets. After the party I thought all the boys would be sleepy, but they just wanted to build.
The boys got to see their Grandpa in Austin on Thursday. I don't know what got them more excited-seeing Grandpa or playing in his airplane!

A Winner at Summer Games....

Bobi took 2nd place in her age division in the 5K at the Utah Summer Games on Saturday! Way to go! I'm sure you'll post pictures when you get back....or I will :)

Hi all!

Well, I've just spent a half hour trying to figure out how to upload pictures and can't do it without swallowing my pride and asking McKenna for help, so I'm just going to update without pictures!
We have had a very busy month. We are all glad school is out even though our children are growing too fast and now we have a 5th grader and 9th grader! However, life has still been very busy since school got out. McKenna has soccer conditioning every weekday morning at 7am, and also had basketball tournaments the last 2 weekends. Two Saturdays ago she played 5 basketball games in one day! Last weekend, she played in a high school tournament on a sophomore team and was asked to dress for the varsity games. She got to play 2 mintues of a varsity game! Tomorrow we are leaving for Cedar City for the Utah Summer Games. Her soccer team is playing in the tournament. Should be fun.
Jalen is playing baseball as the catcher. Last night he hit a 3 run triple. Of course, I wasn't there to see it. It was his shining moment!
Brendan turned 4 last week. He wanted a "bucking bull" party, which I still don't know what that means, so he settled for a homemade 'farm' cake and dinner with his family. He's very excited about his new 'jeep' and wants to take it to Lacee's house!
Mike is training for the Wasatch Back relay race that will be on June 19th-20th. I'm just trying to keep the taxi service on schedule for everyone!
Hope all is well with everyone! Jodi and I have talked about going to Florida next March or April and going on a cruise, so everyone think about it!
Talk to you later,
Bobi

Hello family.....

Strawberry Jr. at the St. George Tournament.
A view from the top of the Empire State Building

Kaden and I had the best time on our trip to the East Coast. We flew into Washington D.C. and spent three days seeing all the sights there and then we drove to Balitimore and spent an afternoon there and then on to Philadephia for 2 days, then we went to New York City. We got to go to a Phillies game in Philadelphia and Phantom of the Opera while we were in New York. I'm going to have to watch the movie of Phantom cuz I didn't get it at all and all of the boys were asleep when they turned the lights on! I conquered by fear of heights (kinda!) when I actually went out onto the observation deck of the Empire State Building and looked out over the city on all four sides! There were 39 of us that went - 1 teacher, 9 moms and 29 kids. We had a great time! Kaden at the Phillies game. And notice he is wearing a Phillies shirt! He didn't think he should wear anything with the Yankees on it or we probably wouldn't have made it outta there alive :) But Ryan Howard, who plays 1st base for the Phillies, is his second most favorite player and so his shirt has "Howard" on the back.
This is Melissa, me and Toddy at the Phillies game!

Scott, Jessica and Lacee all survived without me, but Lacee sure was glad to see me Wednesday morning when she got up! She told me to bring her back a doll and a purse and she was excited to see what we brought back. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It was nice to have everything taken care of and all we had to do was follow along.
