Thankfully, no houses were lost but the canyon is burned..sad :(

Summer Games

Last week, we went down to Cedar City to the Utah Summer Games.  It was really fun even though Lacee's team lost all of their games.  She played really well!  And they were the cutest team there!  They all had matching hair bows and who can go wrong with pink jerseys??

So, Cassady and Riley introduced us to this new game involving spoons, flour and a little TINY piece of candy.  The object of the game is to scoop away as much flour as you can with spoons without knocking the candy off and if you do knock it off you have to get it with your mouth.....so, this is the result of that :)

 We all did a weight guessing contest and Grandpa Gary thinks he won, BUT he was 1 oz off!

Jessica's Hair Show

On Thursday, May 31st, Lacee and I went up to the Taylor Andrews Hair Show 2012.  It is a huge production!  This year the theme was Broadway Shows and Jessica's group was "The Lion King".  There were 19 different shows that were done.   Our favorites were, of course, The Lion King!  and then Grease and the Adamms Family.   All the girls did a fantastic job and you could tell there was a ton of work involved.

Jessica worked on the head piece of Simba and the owner of Taylor Andrews came up and told her that it was one of the best head pieces he has ever seen!  She was really thrilled. And then the main makeup artist for the show came and personally found Jessica to come help her with the makeup of all the models, so she was really happy!  She did a fabulous job!

Here is Simba..the one that Jessica did.  It is made out of chicken wire and a ton of hair pieces and then they attached it to a baseball cap to sit on the models head.
