A little bit of everything....

An exciting week in Delta as our football team heads into the playoffs after winning Region!  And to make it even better, Delta got to play Ogden!  Delta had homefield advantage, so on Friday, October 28th, the Ogden crowd headed to Delta and that included Bobi, McKenna, Jalen and a whole bunch of McKenna's friends!  Delta won the game 43-0 but it ended in the 4th quarter because the power went out all over Millard County.  Kaden got to play before it got too dark to see the ball.

The Ogden crowd and can you find McKenna???

This week has been Red Ribbon Week and Thursday was crazy hair day!  We decided to rat Lacee's hair and make it as big as we could and then sprayed colors in it.

On Wednesday, Jessica had to have 2 color models at her school to practice on, so being the great mom that I am and Sharlene being the great aunt that she is, volunteered to be Jessica's very first coloring clients.  Can't say we weren't a little nervous, but she did a fantastic job and we are very proud!  She is loving school and has adjusted to being away from home just fine.

Delta vs Payson

On Tuesday, October 18th, Delta JV played Payson here in Delta.  It was Kaden's last JV game...kinda sad!  Delta played awesome!  Kaden had 1 touchdown and he made the 2-point conversion when the game went into overtime.  We ended up winning 22-20 after a tense and exciting overtime!

Score was tied 14 to 14 after 4 quarters.
Delta had the ball first and we scored a touchdown and the 2 point conversion and then Payson got the ball and scored a touchdown, but didn't make the 2 point conversion.
Final score!  Good way to end the season :)
And the two cutest little cheerleaders ever!!

Football - North Sanpete

This is the Delta-North Sanpete game and we lost this game.  The boys couldn't quite get things together.

The score says it all......

On Thursday, October 6th we played Juab here in Delta.  I don't know what happened but we got our butts kicked.  Maybe we weren't used to the freezing cold weather or maybe we just had a bad game...who knows??  We'll just say it was a great learning experience :)

Steve, Whitney, Kohen and Kevin!

Happy Birthday to YOU!

Circus!

We decided to take Lacee to the circus a couple of weeks ago when they were in Salt Lake.  I don't think we had been since Jessica was in 1st grade!  We had a good time.

Two Football Games & Homecoming

Last week was Homecoming for Delta.  The JV Football team played South Sevier in Monroe on Wednesday and then went to Spanish Fork on Thursday...probably not the best idea, cuz our boys were very tired on Thursday so the outcome of the game was not what we wanted.  On Friday, Spanish Fork came to Delta and we beat them!  It was a great game and considering that all the critics were favoring Spanish Fork to win....we just want to say to Spanish Fork...Welcome to 3A football!

Our house all decorated
Kaden missed this throw and decided to practice his tumbling skills
We were up 28 to 0 with 5 minutes left in the game, so the coaches decided to mix it up a little bit and they put Kaden in as running back.  He made 3 good runs and then decided to fumble the ball and the South Sevier kid picked it up and ran it in for a touchdown.....so the score ended up being 28 to 6.   We will have to get this kid some REALLY sticky gloves...ha ha ha
