Soccer and Dance

Lacee is playing soccer this year and so far she is loving it. She is doing really well and is picking up the game fast. She got to play goalie in her last game and she stopped a ball from going in. I think the tongue sticking out and her eyes closed helped :)
Making sure I'm taking pictures of her
And this is actually how she was pretty much the whole time....I tried to catch her doing handstands.
On Thursday night, her little dance group performed at the Tri-Del Review. They did a fantastic job!

Bon Jovi!!

For Sharlene's birthday, we got her Bon Jovi tickets. So on March 22nd Shay, Sharlene, Bobi and I all got to go. We met Whitney and Jessica at Z' Tejas and ate a fabulous dinner and then off to the concert we went. It was so awesome. It was a great concert. Us older ones were a little deaf for a few hours after the concert, but we don't know if it was from the loud concert or Shay screaming!

We love Bon Jovi!
Jon Bon Jovi is so awesome! He had so much energy and was all over the stage. And he can sing!

Adventures in Moab

This past weekend, Jessica, Lacee and I drove to Moab to watch the Delta High baseball team play in a tournament. We had lots of fun. We stopped at Arches National Park on our way there. It is so pretty there. We didn't get to go see all there was to see, so we will have to make a trip back there one of these days. The team had 1 game on Friday and then 2 on Saturday. Delta went 3-0 in the tournament. All the sophomores got to play in the second game on Saturday, so it was worth the trip and expense of my luxury hotel suite :) to be there to see Kaden play in his first varsity game. He hit both times up to bat, so he was pretty happy. There are a bunch of pictures and they are in no particular order!

And then in between games on Saturday, we drove 12 miles south of Moab to this place called "Hole N" The Rock." It is a 5000 square foot house that this guy built in the rock. It was pretty cool.
They had some sculptures outside and this bull is made of old wrenches, bolts, old tools.
And this guy was made from golf clubs!

Snow Geese Pics

My photo class went and took some pictures of the snow geese last night and we found a whole bunch of geese to take pictures of! Sometimes it felt like we were in the movie "The Birds!"
