Happy Trails to You.................

We met at Mi Rancherito on Tuesday for dinner to tell Steve & Kathy "we will see you soon", not a good-bye! We are happy they get to experience a new adventure, but it sure is hard to see them go. We will miss them alot, but thank goodness for the blog, facebook and texting so we can all keep in touch!

While this picture was being taken, Lacee looked up at Shay and said, "Are those two her brothers?" It was so funny. She knows that they are her uncles but I guess she didn't connect them with being my brothers.

Anyway, it was a nice dinner and I'm glad we got to go out as a family. We will miss you Steve and Kathy!

Kaden's 1st Turkey

Kaden drew a turkey tag this year, so Gary, Scott and Kaden headed for the hills on Saturday and Sunday to find turkeys. He missed the first turkey they saw Sunday morning but they found this one later in the morning and he got it. He was pretty excited and said it was fun. Gary showed him how to lay the tail out so he can get it mounted. We plan on having a dutch oven turkey dinner one of these days!

Spring Break in Mesquite

On April 2nd, Bobi, Sharlene and I loaded up the kids and headed to nice, warm weather in Mesquite. We swam, saw "The Last Song" and played Bingo!

Baseball - Delta vs Grantsville and Emery

We went to Grantsville on Thursday, April 8th and played a double header. Kaden pitched in the second game and it was the best pitching I've seen him do so far this year. He looked really good. Hitting...not so much :) It was gorgeous weather in Grantsville, didn't have to be wrapped up in blankets the whole time. On Friday, we went over to Emery and played a double header and they got beat 9-10 and 2-12. We had alot of errors in the last game. They killed us! I videotaped Kaden every time he was up to bat to see what he was doing wrong. Hopefully, we figure it out, he's in kind of a batting slump! It was freezing cold in Emery...I wish warm weather would arrive soon!
