Canyon View Baseball

Tuesday, March 13th, we headed to Cedar City to watch some baseball.  Kaden told me that he wasn't playing Varsity so just to come for the JV game.   Well, guess what?  Ya I get there in time to watch him play JV and he has been playing Varsity the whole time.  Somedays I just want to strangle him!  But, in his defense, he didn't know he was going to be playing either.  Canyon View beat us 5-0 for Varsity and the JV got really beat 11-1.

Desert Hills Tournament/St. George

Last weekend, March 9 and 10th, we traveled to St. George to watch the boys play baseball.  We were all excited to watch the boys play for the first time this year and for the WARM weather!!
Our 1st game Friday was against Timpanogos High School from Orem....they are either 4A or 5A - I'm not sure...but they ended up beating us pretty good.  Kaden pitched the last inning and did pretty good and got up to bat and he hit and made it to 1st base.  The 2nd game that day, was with West Jordan High School and I'm pretty sure they are a 5A school...and we came really close to beating them, but the boys had 1 inning get away from them and West Jordan scored more runs than us!  Saturday morning we played Maple Mountain High School - 4A - and they also beat us and then later that night we played a high school from Las Vegas and they also beat us.  So even though we went 0-4, the boys got a lot of playing time in and had fun.  Kaden did pretty good pitching and he also played right field. 

Jessica and I had fun shopping and shopping and Lacee swam the whole time.  It was a nice get-a-away!

She Said YES!!!

Last December, Kaden finally asked his girlfriend, Selena, to the prom which is on March 17th.  We did a candy bar poster....and I forgot to take a picture of it!!!.....but it was really cute and a stuffed bear.  This past week, she came out and answered him back and this is what she did.

Lacee's Baptism

On Saturday, March 3rd, Lacee got baptized at the Hinckley Church by Uncle Gary and was confirmed by our good friend Jared Smith.  She was so excited!  She looked so cute too!
