Our weekend visit with Zeke

On his cross-country ocean to ocean motorcycle trip, Zeke made a stop in Delta to see us. He arrived on Saturday, May 22nd. We all went to dinner at the Gold Room that night and then Sunday, we had dinner at my house.

Lacee wanted a ride on his motorcycle, so he took her for a little ride down the road. She was all smiles :)

On Saturday night before we went to eat, Scott took us up to one of the big irrigation wells that is on the river to see the work he has been doing. The water coming out of that pipe is coming out of there at 6,000 gallons per minute!

In memory of....

Marathon

Mike ran the Ogden Marathon yesterday! 26.2 miles...one sore foot, a blister on a toe that makes it look like he has 6 toes, but he is ready to run again!

I ran the 1/2 marathon...felt like I was having an asthma attack... but finished anyway...only 4 minutes over my goal time...

McKenna ran the 5K....29 minutes!

Our races are dedicated to the memory of Ethan Stacy, ...I'm sure you have read the stories and if not, you'll have to read about it elsewhere because I can't write it...... and also, to all children who suffer or have suffered because of the actions of adults.... like someone told Mike at the race "because children love to run"...

Happy Mother's Day

Busy Week

We have had a busy week! Kaden's last 2 baseball games of the year were on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were in Nephi playing Juab on Tuesday and they got their hinnies kicked and then played Manti on Wednesday in cold, windy weather (surprise!) and lost 3 to 1. Kaden played well, struck out a couple of times, and had a few good hits. Now on to football (already!), so if anybody needs derby tickets, give us a call....we have 15 to sell...love fundraisers :)

On Tuesday night, Lacee had her dance recital. They performed 3 dances and they looked so cute!

Lacee and I went to Ogden last weekend to hang out with Bobi, McKenna and Brendan. We had a really good time. Bobi and I went to the Rose Wagner Theater with some of her friends to watch 5 ten minute impromptu plays Saturday night. It was really interesting :) On Sunday, we went shopping and bummed around. Lacee and Brendan played non-stop and made a mess.
