Baseball in freezing cold weather!
Lacee and her friends Janie and Kate with their hot chocolate trying to get warm. Jared and Scott on the phone...must be important calls.. HA HA
Kaden in left field
The Delta crowd trying to keep warm!
Wow, baseball season has started and where is the warm weather!!?? We have had 3 games so far and they have all been in windy, cold weather. Please, Mother Nature, we want WARMTH while we are watching a game.
Kaden has been in a much better mood since baseball has started (thank goodness! I don't know how much longer we could have put up with him!) He is playing left field and pitching this year. Left field is a new position for him, but he is doing great there. Not quite as exciting as 1st base, put maybe when the weather gets warm, he will get alot of fly balls his way.
His first game was with Canyon View and he really struggled and struck out twice. He pitched pretty good this game though. The next game was in Richfield and he struggled at bat, striking out twice, and then got up and hit a homerun right over the fence between left and center field. This started a comeback by Delta, but the boys lost six to eight. He pitched the last two innings and did okay. There are no pictures of the first two games because it was too cold to get my camera out. But today I decided I better take some pictures because who knows when it is going to warm up! We played North Sanpete and lost to them 4-5. It's just too dang cold to play! I don't know how those boys do it in this weather. Next week we are headed to Manti and then its Spring Break...Yeah!

Lordy, Lordy Look Who's 40!
Don't be sad, being 40 isn't so bad.
You are now over the hill,
You will have to rush to make a will.
Take time to smile,
You've got awhile,
Before everything goes south,
And your teeth fall out of your mouth!

80's night at the Stephensen's
Last night, Sharlene, Shay and Cassady came down so Sharlene could practice doing Jessica's hair for the prom that is this Saturday. Anyway, it turned into the girls wanting their hair curled and teased, so me being the "rat/tease queen" totally went along with it!
Reno, Part 2
Okay, I finally have a few minutes to upload these pictures and tell you how our Reno trip was. Bobi and I left on Friday morning to fly out to Reno for Aunt Shirl's funeral. We arrived around 1:00 pm and then the fun begin! To backtrack this story a little bit, 2 years ago when we went to California for our cruise, we had rented some cars for the weekend. These cars we got were a Kia Rondo and a Kia Sportage. Okay, Mike and Bobi's car was the Sportage and it wasn't too bad, but Scott and I got stuck with the Rondo which was a total piece of **@*! Sorry if I offend anybody who owns a Kia, but they are!!! So anyway, we get to the rental place and what car do they give us? Yep, a Kia Optima. Are we Kia magnets or what??? Next time we have to rent a car we decided we are renting a convertible. I had printed out maps of how to get from the airport to the Atlantis Resort, so off we go with me driving and Bobi navigating. Just so you know if you are ever with Bobi and you need to find a place, don't listen to her! Yep, we were lost. We could see the Atlantis in the distance and knew that we needed to go south but we ended up driving through the ghetto of Reno to get there. Finally, we arrive and we walk in to check-in and Mike and Lou's family were all standing there too. They had all drove out and we just all got there at the same time.

Bobi, relaxing in our room We went and ate lunch with Uncle Mike and his family and then Bobi and I left and drove down the street and found a mall. We found a few things we couldn't live without and then we went back to the hotel and went and had Sushi - yep, even I ate it and it was delicious! Saturday morning, Bobi woke up bright and early at 6:30 to go to the fitness center but I slept till 7:30, just in time for our spa appointments at 8:00 am. We both had these amazing Body Wraps at the spa. We didn't want to leave, but we had a funeral to attend and Steve was on his way. It was great to see him! The funeral services for Aunt Shirl were really nice. The family did a great job. We got to visit with everybody and then we headed back to the hotel in a snow storm! We ended the night with alot of visiting with Uncle Mike and Aunt Lou, Dave, Steve, George and Kelly and Russ and Tiffany.
This is Aunt Shirl's memorial book. Wasn't she a pretty lady??
Sunday morning, we had to be at the airport at 9:00am, so we were up bright and early. We said our goodbye's to Steve and then off we go to the airport. Our flight was on-time when we left the hotel, but by the time we got through security, we had a ten-minute delay. Well, that 10-minute delay turned to a 3 hour delay before we were finally able to take off. Steve, in the meantime, was stuck at the hotel because 1-80 was closed for a few hours. He was finally able to leave and it took him 4 hours to get home. Bobi and I arrived in Salt Lake at 5:00 and then our sister weekend was over. I got home at 7:00 and my family had dinner waiting for me. I was pleasantly shocked :)
Good News
Last night Storm and Brett gave Susie and I permission to advise the family that in Oct., (during the deer hunt) they would be getting a new little Kaz!!! Like before they are not going to find out what it is untill it arrives!!! Going to be real interesting to see how the now 2 year old Kaz reacts to this!!
