Christmas Party 2009

Last night, we had our Walker Family Christmas Party at my house. Steve & Kathy, Gary & Sharlene, Mike & Bobi and their kids and Scott & I and our kids all came to eat and visit and play Rockband. We missed everybody that couldn't come and those who wouldn't show up - YOU missed out on some great food and laughs! We ate a Hamaker's Roast Beef (delicious!), pasta salad, potato salad, rolls and a delicious carrot cake in the shape of a Christmas Tree..so cute.

Every year our cub scout pack takes part in a parade in town-the scouts build "soapbox" cars. The cub cars get more creative and tricked out each year-it's so much fun. This year was the 3rd for Durham and the 1st for Luke.

This is what a snow day in Texas looks like! Look carefully! It snowed for half an hour last Friday. It melted as soon as it landed, but the kids thought is was awesome!!
