Jessica and her car
Here is Jessica and her car, that she loves! I need to get a picture of her and Cassady by their "twinner" cars. They both have white Oldsmobile Aleros and one day, Scott and I were at the gas station and a white Alero drove by on main street with a dark haired girl in it. Scott immediately thought it was Jessica sluffing school and told me to call her and find out what she was doing out of school. But I had also seen the car and had recognized Cassady in it and also Jessica's car has a pink flower in the back, and I said that wasn't Jessica it was Cassady.

Hinder ROCKS!!!
Okay so 3 weekends ago some friends and I went to the Hinder concert and it was seriously the funnest concert I have ever been too. My 2 friends and I were going crazy the whole night and by the end of the night we could barely hold our heads up. We couldn't even talk after we were screaming so loud. There was some people in front of us that I'm pretty sure didn't know that we were at a rock concert by the way kept looking at us everytime we would scream. It was so funny. If any of you know who Hinder is they sing a song called Go Home and Get Stoned so in the picture where we looked stones we were just following Hinder's advice.
Hi Suzy!
Scott would probably love to come play in the dirt with his toys at your house, but it would require him to leave Millard County and I have to prepare him a year in advance if I want him to go anywhere out of the county with me! I've already started with little hints about going on a cruise with the whole family sometime in the next couple of years so hopefully we will get him out of here and into a whole new world! I have assured him that we will not lose the house if we leave for a week, but it hasn't sunk in yet. I will keep working on him :)
As for Jessica, remember when you guys told me about teenagers and how they don't like you? Well, we are at that stage and we don't know anything and we are old. She loves to be with her friends and once in a while, if she needs money, she will speak to us. We hope that sometime soon she gets a job. I know mom is laughing in heaven at this turn of events and I wish I could apologize to her for all the crap I put her through!
I feel bad because I haven't posted anything about her, so tonight if she is in a good mood :) (cross your fingers!) I will take a picture and post it.

Hey Jodi, Tell Scott and his magic machine to come to Florida as we are in a dire need of some leveling in our yard which use to have grass but now is just dirt. We are getting ready to resod and sure could use Scott's new toy. Probably could use a new well too, so have him bring that stuff down too. Great pictures of your snow vacation....that was snow, right? Looks like all is well the Stephensens and the Paces, but where was Jessica? Had a great visit with Gary and girls though the conversation consisted mostly of killing wild animals between Gary and Brett. Brett is all enthused now about coming to Delta and we all tried to warn him!!!!! We'll see!

Scott's new toy
Here is a picture of Scott's new toy, all repainted and fixed up! He is so proud of his little machine. He brought this home after agreeing to take it in a trade as a half down payment with a guy we just drilled a well for. You should have seen this piece of machinery when he pulled in the yard with it. It had dents everywhere because it had been on a trailer being pulled by a truck and it had wrecked and it fell off the trailer it was on.
So Scott being the perfectionist he is, couldn't stand it to look like that and went and had it repainted and fixed up. I made all the stickers to go back on it with my vinyl machine and now it looks brand new. He can't wait to start moving gravel out of his gravel pile with it, except right now it is parked in the garage because he doesn't want it to get scratched. Ya I know what you are all thinking :)

Weekend in Ogden
Hi Family! I hope everybody had a great weekend! Me, Kaden and Lacee went to Mike and Bobi's this weekend and had a great time. Mike & Bobi play on an "over 30" indoor soccer league and they had a game Saturday night. So off we went and I brought my camera! Who'd have known those two can play soccer! I was so impressed :)
On Sunday, we went up by Snowbasin to a tubing hill and played in the snow. Mike went snowshoeing while me and Bobi tubed with the kids. Here are some pictures from that.
This is Kaden and the other is Jalen on the snowboard going off of a jump the boys made.
And here is a picture of all of the kids in the snow!

It was a fun weekend. Thanks Mike and Bobi :)

New found appreciation for teachers!
I told Lacee she could have a little friend party for her birthday this year. It started out with ten of her little girl friends from her class plus Wayland who lives next door. Pretty soon it ended up being the whole class - 21 in all, because she couldn't leave anybody out. So a bowling party was planned for Tuesday, February 10th, right after school. I asked my friend, Becca, who is also Wayland's mom, to come and help me and thank goodness she did! She saved me from having to repay the bowling alley for damages that I'm sure would of happened. :) Twenty 4-5-6 year olds showed up and then all hell broke loose. We had rented two lanes and so they had to line up to bowl one time and then get in the back of the line and there were many arguements and jumping in line, but Becca handled them really well. Jessica and Kaden came to help out and I told Kaden he was in charge of making sure no one escaped into the parking lot (he did let 3 escape, but we caught them before they got to the parking lot!) Jessica was in charge of keeping order every where else. I think that was good birth control for her.
Thankfully, everybody survived and nobody got lost or stolen. And guess what? I forgot my camera! Ya me, who always has her camera with her, forgot it. But I have great appreciation for Mrs. Edwards, her pre-school teacher, who has to handle these kids every day! Wow, she has the patience of a saint, because I could not do that every day. And I don't think there is going to be another birthday party for Lacee for a long time. I don't have the patience for that!

Uncle Van
Hi Everybody! Until I figure out how to add other blogs (so if somebody could figure it out, that would be great!) LeAnn has posted information about Uncle Van on her blog. Her blog address is russandleann@blogspot.com. He isn't doing so great and we all know what they are going through right now since we have done the same with our mom and dad. It's hard to watch our parents get older and need help from us kids when they have been so independent all of their lives. But yet it is so hard to watch them suffer and in pain and especially loneliness. It's tough.

Lacee turns 5!
Jessica said last night, "Let's wake up at 3:30 in the morning and re-live
that moment when Lacee was born." I said, "Let's not." I am so thankful
that she got to come to our family and I know that mom had a hand in sending
her to us. She has been the best thing to happen to us. She is so funny and she
rules the roost. She looks up to Jessica and Kaden and wants to do everything
they do already! She started pre-school this past August and I really thought
that I would have a heck of a time with getting her to go and she has just loved
going to school and is actually mad when there isn't any school.
Today she got up and opened a few presents before the other two left for school
and then talked me into letting her open two more after they left.
She got to dance at the Delta High basketball game this afternoon with her little dance group.
She did really good and when she was done she came up to me and said, "That was scary!"
Happy 5th Birthday Lacee! We love you!
